The more debates in U.S. Senate race, the better

On the eve of today’s Kentucky Farm Bureau debate between U.S. Senate candidates Rand Paul and Jack Conway, Paul threw down the gauntlet by challenging Conway to six debates before the November election.

I, for one, think the more debates, the better, and the more types of formats, the more voters will learn about these two men. Debates offer a unique opportunity to see how candidates react under pressure and to each other.

According
to the Courier-Journal, Conway’s spokeswoman said Conway is looking forward to debates “which will show voters the clear contrast between Rand , and said the campaigns would be in discussions about debates, but didn’t say how many.
